There was a time when I felt completely alone.

 

 

Yes, you heard that right—this was during my summer holidays in July, when I was visiting my uncle. It was a hot afternoon, around 2 o’clock, the sun blazing above us, and we had just sat down for lunch.

 

 

That’s when I saw something that changed me. Something that reminded me of a truth we often forget: humanity is what makes us human.

 

 

I noticed an elderly woman standing nearby, holding roses in her hands. She had been waiting for more than 40 minutes, yet not a single flower had been sold. People walked past her, preferring big shops and big brands, ignoring her completely.

 

 

In that moment, I knew I had to act. I went to her and bought all 10 of her flowers. And as I held those roses, one thought became crystal clear: we must stand together to support small sellers.

 

 

Because these people—these hardworking families—pour their heart and soul into what they create.
